Meet Matilda

(that’s me)

I’m Matilda — born and raised in Los Angeles, now living my dream job of capturing wedding days in a way that feels real.

I studied marketing at Sonoma State, but somewhere along the way, I found myself drawn to telling stories that aren’t in textbooks, the quiet glances, the unplanned laughs, the moments people don’t notice but never forget.

I'm the one catching the in-betweens: your partner's face when you walk in, your best friend's ugly-cry, the dance floor chaos at 10:37pm.

For almost two years, I’ve been creating wedding content with just my iPhone, focusing on the details and emotions that make each day one of a kind.

Outside of work, I’m usually with my dog, Willow, or adding to my tattoo collection — both constant reminders to live life with personality and heart.

What you can expect from me

When you work with me, you can expect a day captured exactly as it happens — no stiff poses, no forced smiles, just real moments in motion. I’ll be there for the little things: the nervous hands, the belly laughs, the cousin who may have had one too many drinks.

My goal is to make you forget I’m even filming while still creating a story you’ll want to watch over and over. Expect authentic, unscripted clips, a calm presence, and someone who’s just as excited about your day as you are.
